Old laptop with 2013 outlook has all settings you said.but my hotmail acct, when deleting messages, they come back some time later. If i try to change the settings, it says "something went wrong, try again." I've tried several times. When I go into repair the acct, it has iincoming server as port 143 with no encryption, and outgoing as 25 with no encryption. I don't remember exactly, but i think it had more of an auto setup when initially creating this account. My 2013 outlook appears to be set up fine, but my 2016 doesn't like those settings> It says that something went wrong with the setup.
